Saurbæjarkirkja – June 2019

Not to be confused with “Saurbæjarkirkja í Eyjafirði” which is a different church over 500 km away. This one is in the Westfjords, near Rauðisandur, where horrific murders were committed in the early 19th Century on what is now a deserted farm (Sjöundá).
