A few people who visit this blog encounter text over images and other readability problems. There are at least two reasons why this happens.
1) Your window isn’t maximized. Most images in the blog are 800 pixels across. If your screen resolution settings are at 1024 x 768 or higher things will still look messed up if you don’t maximize your window. To do so, click on the browser icon near the top right that looks like a square. You can find it between the – and the X.
2) Your screen resolution settings are set too low (like 800 x 600). To fix this on most computers click on Start (or the Windows icon in the lower left corner of your screen). Then click on Control Panel. Then click on “Adjust screen resolution” or “Personalization” and then “Display Settings.” In Windows XP you just click on Display and then the Settings tab. Slide the resolution bar to the right to a setting at least as high as 1024 x 768. Click “Apply” and “OK.”
If things still look screwy, let me know. In your email be sure to state your operating system (MacOSX, Vista, WinXP, etc.), your screen resolution, and your browser (Firefox 3.0, IE 7.0, etc.)
Thanks!
