Gabby Sandoval picked up her first save and won her sixth consecutive decision, improving to 7-2. Additionally, Sandoval has only allowed two earned runs over her last 25 innings pitched.

Six inches of snow in my driveway and a downed tree meant I walked into work this morning. Classes are on at SOU, at least the ones that begin at 10 a.m. and later.

Tickets are now on sale for the annual Raider Club Scholarship Dinner and Auction.
The event is scheduled for April 26, 2018 in the Rogue River Room in the Stevenson Union on the SOU campus.
Tickets are $75 for individuals and $500 for a table of 10. The table of 10 will include two SOU coaches or student-athletes.
The evening will include a silent auction, live auction, scholarship ask, free beer and wine and will again feature a fabulous dinner provided by Beasy’s On The Creek.

Last year’s event raised over $90,000 for the student-athletes of SOU.

Everything is closed today. Classes are cancelled. Of course, that means I was even more anxious to get to work as campus is lovely and quiet.
I just gave a mini tour of campus to a mother and (prospective student) daughter who came all the way from Southern California to see SOU. With no employees (or students) on campus, weirdo faculty members, like me, are the only tour guides left.
Don’t go driving today. I saw two accidents on my walk to campus.

The SOU men will host EOU at 7. This will be the final home game for seniors Ben DeSaulnier and Kenny Meyer.

I looked at a folder of images today, from nearly two years ago, that I hadn’t seen previously. This is The Desolate who opened for Hemorage at Club 66 before the doors closed for good. If anyone knows who the band was who opened for The Desolate (featuring a guitarist/vocalist with a red, Jackson Flying V) let me know the name.
