Riley Donovan

Riley Donovan was named the Cascade Conference Softball Player of the Week. In SOU’s four blow-out wins in Eugene, Donovan went 6-for-11 with 11 RBIs. She had a grand slam and two RBI doubles. Donovan also was 2-for-2 with her stolen base attempts.

Today was supposed to be the first home softball games of the season. However, the games were shifted to Redding and then cancelled altogether when the field conditions worsened over the week. The new home opener (without fans) for the #1-ranked Raiders is scheduled for March 18.

Rogue River

My Monday Rogue River rafting group is still going strong. Unfortunately, I missed a Monday due to illness. The good news is I’m healthy again. I didn’t have Covid-19. I think I was infected with something via mosquitoes when I tent camped for the first time in many years.
