Today’s victory puts SOU on the brink of clinching a spot in the sweet 16. If (favored) Central Methodist beats IUK today, the Raiders will move on even before tomorrow’s match. Should IUK pull off an upset, then Southern Oregon may need a win over Central Methodist tomorrow.

Update: IUK lost so the Raiders advance.

2019 SOU volleyball team (currently ranked #5)

The Raiders didn’t get an easy pool. Although the coaches have Central Methodist at #12, Massey has them at #9. That said, the top two teams advance so even if the Raiders have trouble with Central Methodist, they’ll be fine if they get past Indiana Kokomo (today) and Bellevue (tomorrow).
