Raiders slide to #4 in latest rankings

According to the coaches, SOU is the #4 team in the NAIA. The Raiders went into the World Series as the #6 seed last year before finishing #3. The higher the seed the “easier” the path to a national championship. That said, the top six seeds all have to win the same number of games to win it all. Seeds lower than the top six have to win an extra game.

Raiders retain #3 ranking

The latest coaches’ poll came out today. SOU has gone 8-0 since the last rankings, good enough to keep their #3 ranking. Corban has gone 7-1 since their #14 ranking a couple weeks ago, moving them up to #10. This weekend Southern Oregon will travel to Salem to play four against Corban. The winner of the series will have sole possession of first place in the Cascade Conference.
