The photos I post here are a small fraction of the photos I actually have. If you would like to print any of the photos on this blog, you are welcome to do so at no charge. Be sure to click on the photo to get to the higher resolution size which will print with more quality. If you want to use them on the web (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), you are welcome to do so if you link back to traveljapanblog.com/ashland in the description of the photo. If you are using the photo in a newspaper or magazine, please credit “Al Case, Ashland Daily Photo”.
If you would like me to search through all of my photos and send you photos of the particular athlete you are looking for I charge a reasonable fee for the time it takes me to find all of those photos and to process them for you. I do not normally sell prints. I email you the high quality electronic files in .jpg format, and you can do the printing and framing yourself through a local or online service. Players and Team of the Week

A 5-1 weekend, including two wins over ranked teams, netted the Raiders Team of the Week honors yesterday. Today Kelsey Randall was named Offensive Player of the Week, and 6-0 Victoria Mackey was named Pitcher of the Week. Randall is a sophomore and Mackey is a freshman. The future looks bright for SOU softball.

Winton’s HR was a two-run shot, and the Raiders went on to win over #18 Vanguard in California. Sydney White pitched the first five for the Raiders.
The Raiders beat #20 Biola later in the day by the same score.

SOU’s Lacie Crawford was named the Cascade Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week. She pitched a complete-game shutout on Saturday with six strikeouts in her debut.

The first home game isn’t until March, but the Raiders will play a bunch of games in February, mostly in California, beginning Friday.

Ashland Little League is offering two types of registration options this year. In person registrations are at the Senior Center at Hunter Park on the following dates and times:
Saturday, January 30 – Noon – 4
Sunday, January 31 – Noon – 4
Febuary 6 – Noon – 4
Online registration:

The deadline for online registration is 2/15/16.
The fee schedule for 2016 season:
Major & Minor League Fee – $105
Rookies League – $75
T-Ball – $25
Flat Family Fee (for those families registering 2 or more players) – $155
The online registration site accepts debit & credit cards, or you can select the option to pay by check, and mail a check to the P.O. Box.
Note for those families registering 2 or more players: If utilizing the online registration, you must register all children in the same session to receive the discounted family fee. Please email admin@ashlandoregonlittleleague.org if you encounter any issues.
Ashland All Stars win in first round of state playoff

Ashland’s 9-10 Little League Softball Team made it to the Oregon state championship tournament which began today in Gresham. This morning they defeated Hood River Valley, in walk-off fashion, to move into the winners bracket in the double-elimination tournament. Two teams will go home after Sunday’s games, but Ashland won’t be one of them. They play at 3 p.m. on Sunday.
