Today’s photo comes from a time before the SOU track and field received a much needed face lift. SOU Lacrosse no longer plays games on this field.

My random, desktop image of the day is this one from four and a half years ago. Taylor was one of my accounting students back then. After graduating from SOU (and recently competing for Team England), he will soon be playing lacrosse while working on his Masters in Management and Global Supply Chain Management at Nottingham Trent University.

Southern Oregon won their first-ever Division II Pacific Northwest Collegiate Lacrosse League (PNCLL) title today with a win against Gonzaga at Boise State. With the win, the 13-2 Raiders earned an automatic qualifying bid to the 2016 MCLA National Championships in a couple weeks in Orange County, California.
The PNCLL has 12 teams including Portland State University and Western Oregon University. Half of the teams are from Washington.

Details on the men’s game here.
Women will be heavy favorites tomorrow. Tip off is 11:45 on Thursday, and RedZone is the best place to watch the game if you aren’t in Iowa.
