Templo Mayor (March 2026)

I couldn’t really see this wall of skulls as we wandered through this active archaeological site in downtown Mexico City, but I did catch a glimpse of the skulls on top from my vantage point (I’m 6’3″). So I raised my camera high above my head to get the above photo. This late 15th-century Aztec “tower of skulls” features over 600 human crania embedded in lime.
