Monumental Fountain of Nezahualcoyotl, Chapultepec Park, Mexico City

The Nezahualcóyotl Fountain honors the 15th century ruler celebrated for his mastery of water engineering in ancient Tenochtitlán. The sculptor Luis Ortiz Monasterio inaugurated the piece on September 15, 1956.
