Ginza’s Nenrinya’s Baumkuchen (銀座にあるねんりん屋のバームクーヘン)
I didn’t know what these things were when I photographed them through a window in Ginza (the first floor of Matsuzakaya). They looked like some sort of high-end Krispy Kreme. Actually they are cake, very expensive cake, like everything else in Ginza.

I just got back from Japan and fell in love with this cake. Do you know if you can order it to be shipped to the US? (The nenrinya website is all in Japanese.)I would love to order some more. Sincerely, Kevin Durrance

I doubt you can get it shipped from Japan, but you can probably find it in the USA or just make it yourself. Here is the recipe for Baumkuchen: http://www.food.com/recipe/baumkuchen-the-king-of-cakes-214171
