This is a breathtaking photo of Tokyo. Was this taken from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building?
I am trying out time lapse photography and would like to ask- is there any outdoor high places in Tokyo to photograph sunsets with a tripod?

This was taken from the Tokyo Metro Govt. Bldg.
You can (or used to be able to) get outdoors from the top of the Mori Tower, but it is expensive, and I don’t think they allow tripods.
Your best bet may be the Yebisu Garden Place (恵比寿ガーデンプレイス) as there are fewer people there (and it’s free). You will be indoors, and you’ll want to bring something to cover up the window around your lens so that you don’t get any glare or reflection. You can’t use a tripod, but you can set your camera on the ledge or hold it against the glass.
