8048 Army Unit – Kokura General Depot

Glenn Case – Kokura General Depot – 8048 Army Unit – Japan during the Korean War

More details have unfolded as I’ve converted more of my dad’s slides into digital images. The 8048 Army Unit only existed from March 17, 1951 until July 27, 1954 so these Japan photos must have all come from that time period.

   Hi, my father asked me to contact you and tell you that he served with your father in the 8048AU in Kokura from December of 1952
   through Decmber 1953. He said although they were not close, he does remember him. He saw him daily and would sometimes have conversations with him. If you wish to contact my father, please email me and I will send you his address.
