For her defensive efforts in SOU’s 3-0 win over OIT this past weekend, Alyssa Bricker was named as one of the CCC Players of the Week.

Southern Oregon University begins fall classes today. Tryouts to walk on to the SOU softball team will be held tomorrow at 3:45 p.m. at University Field on Iowa Street in Ashland.

Raiders play two tough teams on the road this weekend

Tonight the Lady Raiders play the perennial conference champions, College of Idaho. Tomorrow they face Eastern Oregon who is ranked #11 in the country and have a 5-0 record. Both games are away from Ashland, but they return home next week.
Austin Dodge named the Frontier Conference Player of the Week

In leading the Raiders to a 73-20 win over Eastern Oregon University this past Saturday, Austin Dodge was named Frontier Conference Player of the Week for the fifth time. This Saturday the Raiders take on Dickinson State in North Dakota.
Volleyball tonight @ Ashland High School

The JV team plays South Medford High School at 5:45 tonight, and the varsity match will follow after (probably beginning about 7 p.m.).

Along with cooler temps, we have now had a bit of rain and fog in Ashland. It feels like summer’s over. I bet we still have a few more summer-like days ahead though.

SOU Volleyball returns to Ashland tonight

The Raiders play Concordia tonight and Warner Pacific tomorrow night in the Bob Riehm Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. both nights.
