#1 Southern Oregon @ #4 Carroll – September 5, 2015
Some of you may have found your way here through the link on souraiders.com. I have had several people email me asking questions about buying prints or about finding all of my photos for a certain sport.
The photos I post here are a small fraction of the photos I actually have. If you would like to print any of the photos on this blog, you are welcome to do so at no charge. Be sure to click on the photo to get to the higher resolution size which will print with more quality. If you want to use them on the web (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), you are welcome to do so if you link back to traveljapanblog.com/ashland in the description of the photo. If you are using the photo in a newspaper or magazine, credit “Al Case, Ashland Daily Photo”.
If you would like me to search through all of my photos and send you photos of the particular athlete you are looking for I charge a reasonable fee for the time it takes me to find all of those photos and to process them for you. I do not normally sell prints. I email you the high quality electronic files in .jpg format, and you can do the printing and framing yourself through a local or online service. My email is on this page or you can comment (leave a reply) to a blog entry to communicate.

In addition to all the great points made here, consider that SOU only has 11 sports. (Next year there will be 12 with men’s soccer being added.) Many of the teams in the top ten for the Director’s Cup have 20 or more athletic teams. Their top 12 teams count. All of SOU’s teams count, and a zero is awarded for the missing sport.
What would be interesting is to see a weighted-average Directors Cup where a school’s score is divided by the number of sports they compete in. For instance, SOU scored 696.5 points. Divide that by 11 sports for 63.32 weighted points. The #1 school, Oklahoma Baptist University, scored 854.50 points. Divide that by their 20 athletic teams for 42.73 weighted points. Hmmmm… I wonder if any school with 11 or fewer sports scored anywhere near Southern Oregon’s total?

Wow! What a week! What a season!
I just returned from Florida where the SOU Raider Football Team won the NAIA National Championship.
Many of you have asked where you can find my photos. There are some here, here, here, and here. I took over 2,000 photos and haven’t looked at most of them yet so give me some time.
I will post Florida related photos here and NAIA National Championship related football photos here.
