I can’t tell you how many times I’ve gone for a Sammich on Sunday only to realize along the way, or once I got there, that they are closed on Sunday. Not anymore. Sammich is now open from 11-4 on Sundays.

The Southern Oregon University Women’s Soccer Team plays in Medford today (8/31/14) at 2 p.m. This will be their final game at U.S. Cellular Field. The next home game will be on the new field at Raider Stadium on 9/25/14.
Update: The 9/25 game will be in Medford. The field in Ashland isn’t ready yet.
I spent this past weekend in Eugene. While there, I took a walk on a lovely morning in Delta Ponds City Park. Next time I’ll have to bring a longer lens to capture some of the wildlife that is teaming in this place. If you look closely you can see some ducks in the center of today’s photograph.
Besides the Junior Crew of the Ashland Rowing Club, teams from Humboldt and South Eugene competed on a cold and sometimes wet morning this morning.
@ahs_baseball Ashland High School, currently ranked #1 in the state of Oregon at the 5A level and having defeated the previously #1 ranked 6A team, goes for their 10th straight victory against 6A Roseburg in Ashland today at 4:30. Even though Roseburg isn’t ranked in the Top 10 for 6A teams, beating any 6A team is not easy for a 5A school. This should be a good game.
