The Southern Oregon University Basketball Teams went 4-0 this weekend in Ashland. As mentioned previously, the challenges will come to the women in a little over a month. But what about the men?
Concordia was ranked in the Top 15, but the Raiders (ranked #3) beat them fairly easily. Warner Pacific was the pre-season pick to come in second (behind the Raiders) in the Cascade Conference, and that victory for SOU was even easier. Could the Raiders actually be 28-1 by the time they play Concordia on the road in late February? Perhaps it is way too early to make such a prediction, but a 28-1 record by 2/22/14 seems very possible at this point if Concordia and Warner Pacific are really the best two teams besides the Raiders in the CCC.
Last night featured blow outs by both the SOU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams. The women play again at 5:30 this evening. The men will follow against undefeated Southeastern University (Florida).
I managed to squeeze in three of the four activities mentioned in yesterday’s post.

I suppose an animal with eyes on the sides of its head could view the University of Oregon’s three sporting venues (football, baseball, and soccer) all at once. Us humans need to photomerge six photos together to see them at the same time. This is a 180 degree view from the deck next to the Autzen Stadium Press Box at halftime this past Saturday.

I posted a smaller version of this on Facebook yesterday. Speaking of Facebook, the vast majority of those who “like” Ashland Daily Photo on Facebook never see the daily photo. I’m not sure exactly why, but there is a fix. To be sure you see the daily photo, mouse over the “Liked” button after you like the page and click on “Show in News Feed”. Then click on “Settings” and select “All Updates”.
As always, for an even larger version, click on the photo.
