@GretchenMenn @Zepparella
Tonight (6/25/15) Zepparella plays in Grants Pass (with Patrimony and BloodMoon Warning). Tomorrow (6/26/15) Zepparella will be playing at Club 66. Unfortunately, I will be in Bend tomorrow.

Tonight’s Britt performance (6/23/15) will be Chicago. Tickets sold out yesterday so hopefully you already have yours. I heard Chicago IX about a million times between 1975 and 1978 thanks to my sister’s record player blasting it above my room from the time I was about 7.

Last night Brit Floyd (a British Pink Floyd cover band) kicked off the beginning of the 2015 Britt season. The show was fantastic. More photos coming soon.
Brit Floyd was the first, of the five Pink Floyd cover bands that I’ve seen, to play any post-Roger Waters Pink Floyd tunes.
Gravewitch is playing in Ashland (Club 66) today and Medford (Musichead) tomorrow (6/12/15). Both shows are all ages and start early (5 in Ashland and 6 in Medford).
@OfficialNeurot @voivoddotnet @AgallochBand @ufomammutmafia
A bit over a year and a half ago, had you asked me what are the top four bands that are still active that I’d like to see live but have not, I would have answered (in no particular order) Neurosis, Tool, Agalloch, and Voivod. Flash forward to midnight tonight, and I will have seen all four of these bands!
The other bands on tonight’s bill are also fantastic. This will be my first time seeing Ufomammut and my third time seeing YOB.
Photos coming on my other blog beginning Sunday.

My random, desktop image of the day was this one from this past February. Here is another one from that night.
Fun fact: 28 years ago, not to the day–but to the month (May 1987), I saw Tesla and Y&T open for Iron Maiden at Spartan Stadium in San Jose, California. OK, that’s not so interesting in and of itself, BUT last night BloodMoon Warning opened the show for Y&T by covering Tesla’s “Cumin’ Atcha Live”. Boom! What are the odds? Full circle. Time travel is (sort of) possible.
