Bloodlust, something of a Venom cover band but with several originals thrown in the mix, were also on the bill Thursday night in Medford.
Last night’s bill at Musichead in Medford featured five bands. Witch Cult got things started. They play in Ashland this next Wednesday night.
Wehrmacht began their West Coast tour last night in Medford. Tonight they play in Oakland at the Oakland Metro Operahouse. Saturday night they open for Sacred Reich in West Hollywood.

Wehrmacht setlist – Impala is the first new Wehrmacht song in over 20 years, and it was played live for the first time on this evening at Musichead
More photos from this evening coming here soon…
It has been almost a year since Sarcalogos has played in this part of the world. The show in two weeks with Witch Cult will be the first metal show at the new Club 66. Sure, it’s a Wednesday night and you probably have to go to school or work or something the next morning, but things will wrap up well before midnight–unlike some of the weekend shows at Club 66–so put it on your calendar, copy off some fliers (below), post them everywhere, and head on down to Club 66 on February 27 to support metal in Ashland.
After a bit of SOU wrestling and lacrosse on Friday night, I wandered in to Club 66 to find these two guys on stage. They performed a lovely rendition of The Beatles’ Norwegian Wood which brought back some great memories from a few years ago.
Opening for 100 Watt Mind last Saturday night @ Club 66 was a band called “Fu*k! A Monster”. The punctuation in their name is very important because “Fu*k a Monster” has a completely different connotation than “Fu*k! A Monster”. In any event, a couple of their members are also in FatherDoug, who I wanted to see play later in the evening. Unfortunately, evening turned into morning, and I had to wake up by about 7 a.m., so I split after 100 Watt Mind at about 1 a.m. and missed Father Doug.
