You can check out the new scoreboard at today’s 1 p.m. football game. We should have a break in the rain for the game. SOU is a 4-point favorite over Montana Tech according to Massey.
Tonight you can watch the volleyball team go for another upset win after last night’s victory over 17-4 Bushnell.

Although SOU is now in Massey’s top 25, two of the Raiders’ next three opponents are sitting in Massey’s top 20. Of course, the spreads are so close that no one is a serious underdog in any of these contests. The Raiders are favored to win just one more game but are never underdogs by more than three. Should be an interesting second half of the season…

As mentioned just a few days ago, anyone can beat anyone in football in the Frontier Conference this year. Three teams with just one loss before today lost today (Eastern Oregon, Montana Western, and College of Idaho) moving the Raiders into a tie for second place in the conference standings.

The Raiders are a 3-point favorite over Eastern Oregon this Saturday in Ashland according to Massey. That was the same spread Massey Ratings gave SOU last week when the Raiders beat the Saints by 1.
Check out the graphic below.
Massey has every game with a 39 to 63% chance of winning–pretty unusual. Usually, there are games that are less than 10% or more than 90% but not so with football games in the Frontier Conference this year. Anyone can beat (or lose to) anyone on any given Saturday this year. Montana Northern almost knocked off Rocky Mountain last week for instance, and stuff like this has happened all over the place in the conference:
– Carroll College beat Montana Tech who beat Rocky Mountain who beat SOU who beat Carroll
– Rocky Mountain beat College of Idaho who beat Eastern Oregon who beat Montana Tech who beat Rocky, etc.
The eventual conference champion will likely be the team that doesn’t lose more than two conference games.
