Tailgating before the SOU football games has been a blast. Mike Beagle really got them going, beginning about 13 or so years ago. He gave out the “Lifetime Tailgate Pass” to families who had a graduating senior on the team who had consistently attended.

NAIA Football 2023

The above is an official promo from the NAIA that went out for the 2023 NAIA Football Championship Series today, and it features a photo of mine (below).

Apparently, someone in the NAIA agrees with my assessment that SOU should be in it, to have Southern Oregon not only listed as one of the teams but have it be the largest photo on the promo! BTW, all of the other teams listed are in the playoffs (even though the Raiders could beat them) so…
