The Raiders improved their CCC record to 9-3 today by winning two at Corban University. Willison improved her team-leading stats to a .426 batting average, .681 slugging percentage, and .582 on-base percentage. She also leads the team in runs and total bases.
The Case Against 8 shown at the Historic Ashland Armory
#AIFF14 @TheCaseAgainst8 Today is the final day of the 2014 Ashland Independent Film Festival. Last night was the Awards Celebration. The Case Against 8 won both the Audience and Jury Awards for Best Documentary. The film will be shown twice more today in the Varsity Theatre but tickets are sold out. You can try your luck in the rush line.
A new lens showed up in the mail a few days ago. I decided to go for a walk to try it out. I quickly learned that the Nikkor 200-400mm f/4 VR lens is not a lens to take on walks as it weighs over 7 pounds and everyone looks at you funny. This deer looked at me funny so I took his/her photo.

Fairy Ponds in Ashland’s Lithia Park
Spring is a good time to photograph Ashland Creek in Lithia Park as the water levels tend to be higher, the rocks extra mossy, and you can even find an occasional spot with flowers.
