The lotus and the lily pads
In Suginami-Ku in Tokyo you can find Zenpukuji Park (善福寺公園). In that park in early summer the lotus flowers and lily pads are quite a sight.

I usually take a walk to Aenpukiji on foot on weekends. It takes about an hour or so from my house in Suginami-ward. Along the Zenpukiji-river I walk;no cars, so I walk very comfortable. There I found many historic places around there.
