@OregonBaseball @krook_daddy This past Saturday evening I watched this freshman pitcher strike out 10 in just 5.1 innings. He only gave up one hit too. However, the Ducks couldn’t score. The next night they scored 20 runs. Go figure.
The one who ran for about 80 yards a game and threw an average of 3 TDS and 0 INTs a game when the Ducks started the season 8-0 (when he was considered a Heisman contender) or the one who netted close to zero yards on the ground (and threw 2 interceptions in each of the last two games) when Oregon went 2-2 during their final four games?
Game time is 6:45 p.m. EST from Texas for today’s Alamo Bowl.

Voodoo Doughnuts – Eugene, Oregon
Today we are heading south on I-5 to California for a little vacation away from Oregon’s winter. Today’s photo is from the archives of a prior trip north on I-5.
It’s not what they were hoping for when the season began. It was far from their minds when they went into week nine with an 8-0 record, with landslide victories over two ranked teams under their belts. However, the Oregon Ducks are going to the Alamo Bowl, to play an unranked team (Texas), in a bowl game before the year even ends, instead of to the BCS Championship Game they seemed destined for just over a month ago.
For some reason, whenever I post photos of Oregon Ducks Cheerleaders my site traffic jumps. What’s up with that?
Today’s photo is from yesterday’s game at Autzen Stadium in Eugene.
