Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral (west-facing facade)

250 years in the making, this cathedral has had a long history after its beginnings in the 16th Century. The main facade faces the south.

Ignacia Guest House in Mexico City (March 2026)

We heard before our trip to Mexico City last month that March and early April are the best times to visit CDMX, mainly because of the weather and blooming Jacarandas. However, we had no idea that the blossoms would be so ever-present as turned out. We seldom had a view that didn’t include them.
