Barbakan Warszawski (Poland – August 2021)

The artist, whose works can be seen on the brick wall, is Tadeusz Chyła. He died a bit more than seven years before I took this photo. He was also a musician.

Mural on Radegastovna Perón Smíchov by Chemis (August 2019)

I was staying in Anděl in Prague in 2019 when I took today’s photo. I don’t remember if I ate and had a beer at the pub Radegastovna Perón Smíchov or if I was sipping a beer at the Pizza/Kebab shop with this view.

Anyway, lots of Prague memories these days as I finish Dan Brown’s The Secret of Secrets.

August 2014 (Guanajuato, Mexico)

Today’s photo showed up as my random, desktop image of the day. Guanajuato is known for Diego Rivera so I was hoping that the artist had gone on to similar greatness in the subsequent decade plus. I typed in the artist’s Flickr URL only to see that he abandoned Flickr before I took this photo. You can find him still active on Facebook though.

Mural in Aalborg, Denmark (a place where “The winds of Thor are blowing cold”) (July 2021)

French brothers Arthur and Oscar Maslard created this mural. You can’t see it anymore though as a new one has taken its place.
