If you are in or near Ashland Thursday night, don’t forget to catch the SOU vs. OIT matchup. The #4 ranked women’s team will have their undefeated conference record on the line against 5-1 Oregon Tech.
The men’s teams have identical 4-2 conference records.
The games were originally scheduled for Tuesday night but are now scheduled for Thursday night due to the snow storm.

Welcome to installment #31 in “The Whole Picture” in which I present the uncropped, higher resolution version of photos that SOURaiders.com have published. For prior editions click here. For higher resolution click on the photo before saving. As always, photos are best viewed on a big screen rather than a tiny phone screen.
Some of you may have found your way here through the link on souraiders.com. I have had several people email me asking questions about buying prints or about finding all of my photos for a certain sport.
The photos I post here are a small fraction of the photos I actually have. If you would like to print any of the photos on Ashland Daily Photo, you are welcome to do so at no charge. Be sure to click on the photo to get to the higher resolution size which will print with more quality. If you want to use them on the web (Facebook, Twitter, etc.), you are welcome to do so if you link back to traveljapanblog.com/ashland in the description of the photo. If you are using the photo in a newspaper or magazine, please credit “Al Case, Ashland Daily Photo”.
If you would like me to search through all of my photos and send you photos of the particular athlete you are looking for I charge a reasonable fee for the time it takes me to find all of those photos and to process them for you. I do not normally sell prints. I email you the high quality electronic files in .jpg format, and you can do the printing and framing yourself through a local or online service. My email is on this page or you can comment (leave a reply) to a recent blog entry to communicate.

Amy Corey played to a packed house at Oberon’s Tavern in Ashland a couple nights ago. This was a homecoming show for Amy who now resides in Nashville. It’s been almost five years since I posted a pic of Amy.
Check it out here.
While Ashland’s city limits were snow free on Christmas, you didn’t have to look far to enjoy a white Christmas from clear-skies Ashland this year. Today’s photo was from my house early on Christmas. I wanted to go up on the roof for a better view, but there was a thick layer of frost/ice, and I didn’t want to die just yet. So this picture is from my backyard, zoomed in on the subject to avoid trees, houses, and power lines getting in the way.

We headed up to Mt. Ashland for a walk in the snow on Christmas. Cars were streaming down the mountain as we went up. We hit the parking lot at about 4 which was also when the ski area was closing. It was beautiful, but not as beautiful as it became an hour later when the sun set. Nearly everyone was gone by then. At just 18°, and dropping quickly, I don’t blame them, but they missed the best scene of the day.
