Tomorrow night’s game is a pretty big deal. Reserved seats have sold out, but I hear there may be a few left in the bleachers. Better head over to the SOU Athletics Department to pick tickets up today, if you haven’t already, or you probably won’t get in tomorrow.

This past Sunday evening featured the amazing and talented Jon Mueller followed by the even more incredible Mamiffer. I was mesmerized out of my mind and would love to be able to experience this again some day. I have a few more photos coming soon.

League play doesn’t begin for another month, but the Southern Oregon University softball team has had their way with their opponents thus far. They will play eight games this weekend in California.
Freshman Kelsey Randall, a two-sport star for the Raiders, is leading the team in most offensive categories including average (.583), runs (12), and slugging percentage (.958). She turned a nifty double play from her shortstop position in yesterday’s victory.

The photos I post here are a small fraction of the photos I actually have. If you would like to print any of the photos on this blog, you are welcome to do so at no charge. Be sure to click on the photo to get to the higher resolution size which will print with more quality. If you want to use them on the web (Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter, etc.), you are welcome to do so if you link back to traveljapanblog.com/ashland with the photo or link back to the URL with source of the photo.
If you would like me to search through all of my photos and send you photos of the particular athlete you are looking for I charge a reasonable fee for the time it takes me to find all of those photos and to process them for you. I do not normally sell prints. I email you the high quality electronic files in .jpg format, and you can do the printing and framing yourself through a local or online service. My email is on this page or you can comment (leave a reply) to a blog entry to communicate.

The 21-3 Lady Raiders cracked the Top 10 in the national rankings today for the first time (this late in the season) in more than 15 years. As they don’t have any players in the #2-9 uniform category, the only place they have to go from here is to #1.

Please register ASAP as the due date has already passed. Try-out schedules for majors and minors baseball will be set up very soon. Teams are being put together so register now if you haven’t already.
