Esthela Trevino went in as the #4 seed and came out with a 3rd place finish (with her only loss coming against the eventual national champion). Macie Stewart was ranked #10 in her weight class and also finished 3rd.

On Sunday SOU will host the first official home athletic contests since early March 2020. The women’s soccer team will square off against Bushnell at 1 with the men to follow at 3:30. Spectators are not allowed due to Jackson County’s Covid-19 risk level.

Riley Donovan

Riley Donovan was named the Cascade Conference Softball Player of the Week. In SOU’s four blow-out wins in Eugene, Donovan went 6-for-11 with 11 RBIs. She had a grand slam and two RBI doubles. Donovan also was 2-for-2 with her stolen base attempts.
