We headed up to Mt. Ashland for a walk in the snow on Christmas. Cars were streaming down the mountain as we went up. We hit the parking lot at about 4 which was also when the ski area was closing. It was beautiful, but not as beautiful as it became an hour later when the sun set. Nearly everyone was gone by then. At just 18°, and dropping quickly, I don’t blame them, but they missed the best scene of the day.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll likely be saying it again, I’m guessing this won’t be the last time this season we see Autumn chosen as the Cascade Conference Player of the Week.
Autumn averaged 21.3 points, 9.3 rebounds, and shot 51 percent from the field in leading the Raiders to a perfect 3-0 week. She also shot 94.7 percent (18-19) from the free-throw line.
