Olivia Mackey went 2 for 2 with a walk and 3 RBI in SOU’s 5-0 win

All four CCC teams won today, including the #3 seeds College of Idaho and Corban in “upsets”. A couple of the top teams in the country almost lost. Undefeated #2 Marian won in extras and #5 Lindsay Wilson had a similar result, but both will make it to day two without a loss.

SOU will face Hope International tomorrow in Medford at 11 a.m. The winner will make it to day three only needing to win one more time for the right to go to the NAIA Softball World Series.
