Happy birthday, Kate Brown!

Governor Brown has taken a lot of flack from conservatives for her handling of Covid-19. However, the stats don’t lie. Hawaii and Puerto Rico shouldn’t really be in the comparison under the link since they are islands and can more easily contain things, but basically Oregon did a better job than every other state except Vermont. Had she done what many other states did, more Oregonians would have contracted the virus (and died or had long-lasting ill effects).

I do not normally sell prints. I email you the high quality electronic files in .jpg format, and you can do the printing and framing yourself through a local or online service. Members of the Southern Oregon University football, volleyball, soccer, and wrestling teams boarded buses this morning in Ashland to go to Salem. Some recent grads came down from Portland. Laurence Calcagno made a triumphant entry on his motorcycle.
