This Saturday (September 22), the Raiders will have a conference matchup with Dickinson State at 1 p.m. at Raider Stadium. Saturday’s game will be the first at Raider Stadium. Today’s photo, of Manny Barragan about to apply a stiff arm, is from their first “home” game which took place on September 1 in Medford against Montana Western.

I watched my first Ashland High School soccer game this past weekend. The JV team took on Klamath Union High School on the Ashland Middle School field.

School doesn’t start at SOU for almost a month, but today is the first football game of the 2012 season. Game time is 1 p.m., and the game will be played in Medford (Spiegelberg Stadium) against Montana-Western.

Yet another A’s victory last night. They are currently winning today’s game (10-4 as I write this) as well (thanks in part to a Seth Smith hit and run). Should they pull off another win today it will be their 8th consecutive victory against the Indians. If they keep this up the A’s can forget about being tops in the wild card standings and instead focus on winning the division and obtaining home field advantage in the playoffs.

Perhaps you are getting bored of viewing photos of SOU’s Women’s Rugby Team playing in prom dresses? I have more, many more photos I could show you in fact. But this will do it for Prom Dress Rugby week. Tomorrow we will resume with some different pics. As for me, I will be taking a train from New York to Boston tomorrow. I’ll be back in Ashland in about five days.
