The Devil’s Chain is one of the youngest mountains you will ever encounter. These volcanic, rhyolite lava domes and flows are only 2,000 years old. Nearby, Mount Bachelor is only 6X older. The Blue Mountains in Northeast Oregon, on the other hand, are 50,000X as old!
