Sarpugerði in Norðragøta (Faroe Islands – July 2021)

Sadly, the Faroe Islands (population 55k) did not make it, coming in third in their group behind Croatia and Czech Republic, both of which advanced.

The football (soccer) stadium pictured above has a capacity of 3,000, even though the town’s population is just 614 people.
