My random image of the day seems to be picking a lot of rainy days in Japan recently. Hmmmmm…. Perhaps it’s giving me a warning that my two months in Japan and Korea this summer are going to be very wet. I hope not…
I have shown you the red bowl version of Ippudo Ramen (from New York) before. Today’s photo is of the white bowl variety and comes from Takadanobaba in Tokyo, Japan.
Ippudo has now expanded beyond Japan and New York. Buy a first class (or business class) ticket on ANA, and you can have yourself a bowl while in flight.
Kawagoe’s downtown is famous for its age. A stroll through it makes you think you are back in Edo times. However, even some of the residences, which are far newer, harken back to an older period in Japan’s history.
