Reguliersgracht and Herengracht (Amsterdam) from the water
On the Amsterdam Canal Tour I took today’s photo. From this location you can see 15 bridges if you turn your head 180 degrees. This pic shows six of those bridges. I went back at night and took a photo from the shore to see what it would look like lit up.
Leidseplein was a rather hopping spot in Amsterdam day or night.
A visit to Holland isn’t complete without seeing some flowers, but I don’t think I even saw any tulips. I did come across a massive rose garden in Vondelpark in Amsterdam.
While wandering around Amsterdam I found myself looking for a restroom in the Magna Plaza, a shopping mall of sorts. Finding a restroom wasn’t as easy as a mall in the USA, but the Magna Plaza was far more visually interesting than the vast majority of shopping centers in the USA so I didn’t mind. If you look closely you can see a store called “America Today”. I found it a bit ironic that you’d find a store wanting to show of its “Americaness” in a shopping center so much nicer than those in America.

Today’s photo was taken in basically the same spot as this prior pic. The main difference is I was looking in a different direction. That’s a lot of action for 11 p.m.
