Minor flood

Roskilde Station @ 2:39 a.m.

@orangefeeling

Hours after getting drenched during the Foo Fighters (and watching Cult of Luna under the Avalon big top), I headed back to the station and took this photo at 2:39 a.m. There was no other way to the tracks at this hour so I had to wade through the puddles (some of which were more than a few inches deep). When I woke, 9 or 10 hours later, I noticed that my boots looked like they had been completely papier-mâchéd.

Roskilde Cathedral

Roskilde Cathedral - Denmark

Roskilde, Denmark is most famous for its annual festival, but there is more to see in this town. The cathedral is very impressive. Today’s photo isn’t even of the front of the church; it’s but a mere side. This 900-year old cathedral has many Danish kings and queens buried under the floor.
