Autumn Durand hits the 3 pointer vs. New Hope Christian College
Last night featured blow outs by both the SOU Men’s and Women’s Basketball Teams. The women play again at 5:30 this evening. The men will follow against undefeated Southeastern University (Florida).

Lots going on in Ashland tonight…
beginning at 5 p.m. is the 21st Annual Festival of Light Santa Parade down the middle of town and ending at the Black Sheep with Santa singing from the balcony and the town getting lit up with the Grand Illumination count down
beginning at 5:30 p.m. the SOU Raiders Women’s Basketball Team (7-1) face New Hope Christian College in the Bob Riehm Arena
beginning at 6:15 p.m. Santa and Mrs. Claus will be hanging with the kids in the Black Swan Theater
beginning at 7:30 p.m. the #4-ranked SOU Men’s Basketball Team will play
Santa is normally a fixture behind the Raider bench, but I’m guessing he will be busy on the other side of town tonight.

Jeff Bush received honorable mention for the men.

On 11/19/11 David Grubbs was murdered on this spot on the bike path behind the tennis courts near Walker Elementary School. The murderer has not been found.

Today is Alumni Day for the Southern Oregon University Wrestling Team (beginning at 3 p.m.) Tomorrow (11/17/13) is the SOU Open Championships with a start time of 9 a.m.
We Love Our Grizzlies
The Ashland Grizzlies Football Team continued their perfect season tonight with a win on the road to advance to the semifinal round of the Oregon State Championship. Next up for the 11-0 Grizzlies is the #1 seed (the only other undefeated 5A school, Sherwood, in the state) on the road.
Southern Oregon University Dance Crew
Frequently during halftime at football and basketball games, the SOU Dance Crew will put on a show like the one pictured here during last week’s football game against Eastern.
