Ekstasis tour 2015
Although this flyer is nearly impossible to read, it does say that Ekstasis will be playing on Monday evening (August 3, 2015) in Ashland at Club 66. OVVL (AKA Owl) and Cloak are also on the bill. Things will kick off at 8 p.m.
Listen to what you are in for here, here, and here–basically a night of bands that sound nothing like each other spanning the likes of folk, black/death metal, and everything in between.

Team Japan @ 2015 Pacific Rim Bowl (Raider Stadium, Ashland, Oregon)
@CoachHall_Griz #PacificRimBowl
After a week of activity, the Japanese football players will be heading home today. I hope they had a good time despite the smoke of the past few days. Maybe I should plan to join the team that goes to Japan from Ashland in two years.
More photos from Friday’s game can be found here.

Rogue River before Horseshoe Bend
I have never come back from a vacation with so many bumps, bites, bruises, and burns, but the memories are fantastic. I’ll be posting more photos from our four days on the Rogue River here and here.

Club 66 now has 10 taps of beer, not to mention more than a dozen different options in cans and bottles. Pitchers of even the premium stuff are just $11.

It has been more than a month so it’s about time I finally post a photo from June’s Church show at Club 66. BTW, they have changed their name to CHRCH since this show took place.

@AshlandAnimals
To go along with the deer, fox, squirrel, bear, and skunk that pass through our backyard, this morning we had a family of seven turkey hanging out. Today’s photo is of the smallest and cutest of the bunch.
