Ashland High School Baseball – Tommy Hulick

So I mentioned last week that Ashland High School was going up against the #1 ranked 6A team in the state. AHS won thanks to the shutout thrown by Tommy Hulick! 6A teams aren’t supposed to lose to 5A teams, especially when they are ranked #1. What does this mean? Does Ashland High School have the best team in the state regardless of size? Maybe. Today they go up against 4A Klamath Union in Ashland at 4:30. Another win will further pad their #1 ranking in the 5A OSAA category.

SOU Softball’s Julia Willison

She hit her first three home runs of the season, a grand slam and two three-run shots, leading the Raiders to four wins during the week. She went 7-for-16 and reached base in 13 of 23 plate appearances.

The Raiders have a road doubleheader tomorrow before returning to Ashland this weekend. They currently sit in third place in the conference with almost half of the conference games still to come.
