After Austin Dodge escaped from the clutches of an Oredigger, he threw his first touchdown pass of the day (10/5/13)
Yesterday Austin Dodge broke the SOU Raiders touchdown passing record by throwing eight of them. He held the prior record of six (set last season) along with the current University of Oregon coach, Mark Helfrich.

Colin Amsler drops back to punt, but begins to run with the ball instead.

He broke a couple near tackles in the process.

Colin Amsler put a few moves on as he headed down the field…

…before finally getting hit and going head…

… over heals for a 16-yard gain and a Raider first down.
The Southern Oregon University Football Team won yesterday’s contest against Montana Tech 59-32.

100 Watt Mind set list

100 Watt Mind was excellent, as always, in Grants Pass this past Saturday night. However, I’m a bit pissed off at them now. I bought one of their new CDs (Out of Night) at the show. Upon opening it up I found a bunch of my photos being used without permission or attribution.
I could put a big, ugly watermark on all of my photos like many photographers do. Or I could just not share my photos unless people pay me for them like a lot of photographers do. Instead, I have a very simple copyright policy which can be reached by clicking on the word copyright on every page of the blog.
Use my photos all you want for non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. You don’t even need to ask. If you want to use a photo for commercial purposes (like 100 Watt Mind did), ask. I would have said yes, and I would have charged them $0. Everyone would have been happy. Instead, I’m just a little pissed. If I didn’t otherwise like them, I’d be really pissed.
Would a musician want their work to be taken and used by someone else without permission or attribution? I don’t think so. Why do some musicians think that it is OK to do such a thing to a photographer?

SOU Women’s Soccer
There are so many sporting events happening today that it will be impossible for me to see them all.
SOU has the following full schedule (all in Ashland):
9:00 SOU Sports Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
10:00 Women’s Soccer vs. Corban
1:00 Football vs. Montana Tech
7:00 Volleyball vs. Northwest
Ashland High School is hosting an all-day volleyball tournament.
And outside of Ashland, where I’d really like to be but will have to settle for watching on TV, the A’s are going to beat the Tigers in game 2 of the American League Division Series in Oakland.

SOU
Now that classes have been in full swing for a few days, it won’t be easy to find a people-less photo opportunity on campus anymore. I took today’s photo last week before most of the students were back.
