Two F-15 Eagles from the Oregon Air National Guard over Ashland on May 15, 2020

The Oregon Air National Guard had two F-15 Eagles flyover hospitals and other locations throughout Oregon during the month of May in order to salute Oregonians on the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic. The flyover was conducted by Oregon’s 173rd Fighter Wing, based in Klamath Falls and the 142nd Wing, based in Portland.

We had about 10 female turkeys prance through our back yard a couple days ago. They were followed by two males who started a mating ritual which drew one of the females back. What followed was an interesting five minutes or so which included a feathery head massage before they got down to business.
