More than a year has passed since Musichead hosted its last show. With Club 66 also closing its doors, I no longer get out much. Given the cougar situation in town, that’s probably best.

Club 66 closed its doors while I was gone this summer. No word yet on what will take its place.
Today’s photo is from May of 2014 @ Club 66. It’s of one of the many bands I’ve taken photos of but never processed. Now I don’t even know who this is. Can anyone help?
They opened for Early Man and had a female singer with two-toned hair. Maybe they were from the UK?

Not my finest piece of concert photography, in fact it’s probably my worst in 5+ years, but that’s what happens when you only have your cell phone, aren’t near the stage, and the lighting isn’t good.
However, Tempest was lots of fun. They were perhaps the loudest Green Show I’ve ever been to. And they are playing again at the Green Show on Friday (6/17/16). I will be at Britt shooting Eric Burdon & The Animals though.
Always a great show, tonight Rum Rebellion will be returning to Club 66 for one of Club 66’s final performances (before closing at the end of this month). All ages. Things begin at 5 and will be over before 8.
In sad news, Club 66 has been sold. No word yet as to what the new owner will do with the place. Uzi says he will have a new venue, maybe as early as August. Let’s hope so.
In good news, I’ll be seeing SUMAC again in a little over three weeks in Denmark. It will be interesting to see the difference between them playing in front of dozens in Club 66 compared to thousands at the Roskilde Festival.
