Baskery is opening for the Foo Fighters in May at the BottleRock Napa Festival in California. I may be checking out the Foo Fighters at Roskilde Festival the following month. I say may because I’m teaching Friday of the festival and may not make it to Roskilde on that night. If Neurosis is going on Friday evening I will be there though.
@ACorey_ @OberonsTavern
Amy Corey played to a packed house at Oberon’s Tavern in Ashland a couple nights ago. This was a homecoming show for Amy who now resides in Nashville. It’s been almost five years since I posted a pic of Amy.

John Duffy of Wehrmacht @ Musichead
Throwing it back a few years to one of those many classic Musichead shows that are no more. With the closing of Musichead and Club 66 I haven’t been to any live music in the Rogue Valley (other than Britt) for over half a year. So sad.
@brittfestivals @BritFloyd @FretHub @GetTheLedOut
Just a little throwback Thursday today to perhaps my favorite show of the 2015 Britt season. Speaking of cover bands at Britt, tomorrow is Get the Led Out (The American Led Zeppelin) and there are still tickets remaining.
Unlike the original Led Zeppelin (which never sounded very good live IMHO), I think this 6+ piece will be able to more closely replicate the incredibleness of Led Zeppelin’s studio albums than a 4-piece band.

Just got back from three days of Dave Matthews. Before that, there was this show at Britt. More pics of Andy, Nick, Pat, and Neil coming soon.
@brittfestivals @primus @OfficalGene #RIP #ivegotagoldenticket #genewilder
This is the closest photo I have to a Gene Wilder tribute. This is from the Primus gig last September. An amazing evening…
Les Claypool said about the 1971 film: “Prior to [Jaws] it was everything Wonka [for me].” I, too, must admit to being quite mesmerized by Gene Wilder’s performance as a kid.
A year ago, this happened.
Pat Benatar is playing Britt tomorrow night (8/30/16). A few lawn tickets remain unsold, but this show could sell out. The last time I saw Pat Benatar live was 1997 @ Konocti Harbor with Styx. I’m looking forward to seeing her again after nearly 20 years.
