CCC Athletic Director of the Year Matt Sayre and Jared Hixon

Jared Hixon had a busy week collecting awards. On Friday the All American and National Champion in the 1500 was named the Cascade Conference Men’s Track and Field Athlete of the Year. Last night he picked up the Alumni Award (the highest award given) at the 2016 Red and Black All-Sports Awards from his fellow SOU student athletes. Today he was named the CCC Athlete of the Year. Last night was the fourth annual Raider Awards (AKA 2016 Black and Red All-Sports Awards) on the SOU campus. Always a fun event, it’s kind of sad to see the seniors go. Most of them will be walking this Saturday at 2016 Commencement.
