My random, desktop image of the day happens to be from 7 years ago today, when I hung out in the rain to watch a bit of the 2010 Tokyo Marathon. Today was the 2017 version.
The wheelchair racers (車いすマラソン) lead the pack.

When I visited the Atomic Bomb Dome in 2013, work was being done on it. The construction was not to bring it back to its former, pre WW2 state; instead, it was to keep it from falling to pieces during an earthquake.
