Eight years ago today, this bridge over the Colorado River opened. The Mike O’Callaghan – Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge is the world’s highest concrete arch bridge.

On our recent trip to the Grand Canyon and Sedona from (and to) Vegas we made stops at the Hoover Dam each way. I’ve been to Vegas several times but these were my first trips to Hoover Dam.
