Bicycle day

No hands, no grips, no sleeves

#bicycleday

Fun facts:
1) Today’s photo was a test shot to make sure my Nikkor 300mm f/4E lens still worked after it was involved in an accident on my way to Copenhagen last summer.
2) April 19 became the official bicycle day back in the 1980s when Dr. Albert Hofmann took LSD for the first time and then decided to ride his bicycle home.

Before understanding the exposure triangle

Nikolaj Contemporary Art Center

Today’s photo comes from 2011. My first DSLR was purchased just a month or two before, and I had no idea what the exposure triangle was. This image was shot at f/18, 1/1250, and ISO 6400 in jpg mode. Had I, instead, used something like f/8, 1/250, and ISO 200 and shot in RAW this would have come out so much better. Oh well. Live and learn.

The original image isn’t worthy of showing, but after using Topaz this photograph is no longer that horrible.

Søpavillonen after dark

Søpavillonen after dark

Today’s photo comes from 2 in the morning on my way home from Copenhell. I had just witnessed Heilung and needed to wake up in about 8 hours to not miss Demon Head’s performance that began soon after noon.
