Carl Jacobsen, of Carlsberg fame, built this church in the late 19th Century. Notice the swastikas, a common symbol before the Nazis abused it, on the campanile. The four symbols above them may have to do with Carl’s four children who died in infancy.
This church was also the setting for a funeral in the TV series “Borgen”.
